“Four years ago Brant Construction took on a very difficult project. They agreed to build a retirement home for a couple who had never built a house before and knew nothing at all about deadlines! Not only that, but the couple lived two states away.

Thus began a crash course in all things involved in building a house. Not once did I have to ask for an explanation as to why something was being done in a certain way. Colleen or Josh always explained what the decision involved was and my options. And Colleen had the whole purchasing process of items for the house so organized that I knew in plenty of time when my next buying trip to Beaufort would be and a window within when it needed to be done.

I cannot say enough about the companies that I was sent to in order to pick out faucets, tile, carpet etc. These people could not have been easier to work with and did they know their stuff! Efficient and personable, I could go on singing their praises!

Josh and Colleen have continued to stand by their workmanship, even when the fault in no way was theirs. And only Josh would be replacing a front door latch at eight pm on Valentine’s night! (And they are still married!)

Near the end of the building process my sister-in-law died, and I found out that her husband, my brother, had been under treatment for stage four cancer. Colleen brought me back into focus so that I was able to make my final decisions on light fixtures and doorknobs on schedule. Because of Colleen’s honesty and tact we were able to move into our dream home on the date we had worked toward for six months.”
